SALADE NICOISE
This is pretty much like Greek salad, which might be made with cubes of feta cheese and inexperienced peppers in place of tuna and hardboiled eggs, and dressed with masses of lemon juice, salt and black pepper as opposed to herbs and vinaigrette.
1 big or 2 small tins of tuna
4–6 tomatoes
1⁄2 cucumber
1⁄2 lb (225 g) French beans
4 hard-boiled eggs
1⁄2 small bathtub of pitted black olives
1⁄2 tin of anchovy fillets
1 tbsp parsley
1 tbsp basil
Garlic vinaigrette
Method:
- Hard-boil the eggs for approximately 10 mins whilst you put together the relaxation of the ingredients.
- Drain the tin(s) of tuna and flake into pretty big chunks in a big salad bowl.
- Top and tail the French beans and prepare dinner dinner within side the microwave (or in step with the commands at the packet) then permit them to chill absolutely.
- Cut the tomatoes into wedges and thinly slice the cucumber then upload to the bowl with the beans and herbs.
- Slice the bloodless hard-boiled eggs and upload to the bowl; blend the whole thing collectively gently – don’t spoil the eggs and tuna up absolutely and flip the entirety into mush.
